Planet Report and Heritage Corner
A note
from Mr. Chris
Planet
Projects
As we finish up our unit
on Space, we will combine our reading and science unit. Homework this week will be a Space
Planet Report and it will be due on Wednesday, November 25th.
Students are expected to create an oral report as well as a poster to hand in class next Wednesday. Be creative and have fun!
Items to include in your poster:
WHERE
the planet is located. (How far is it from the sun?)
WHAT
the planet looks like. (Color, what is it made of?)
HOW
many moons the planet has. (Do they have names?)
Any other interesting information you may
find.
****Please see an earlier post if you need to find information about each planet.****

Science Resources
Today we will research air pollution.
Click this link first to get an introduction to air pollution.
http://eschooltoday.com/pollution/air-pollution/what-is-air-pollution.html
We are going to study common air pollutants. The ones that we are going to study are: carbon monoxide, lead, nitrogen oxide, ozone, and sulfur dioxide.
We will be researching what causes the pollution, what it is, and what effects it has on humans and the environment.
Now, use these sites to finish our research.
