Planet Report and Heritage Corner
A note
from Mr. Chris
Planet
Projects
As we finish up our unit
on Space, we will combine our reading and science unit. Homework this week will be a Space
Planet Report and it will be due on Wednesday, November 25th.
Students are expected to create an oral report as well as a poster to hand in class next Wednesday. Be creative and have fun!
Items to include in your poster:
WHERE
the planet is located. (How far is it from the sun?)
WHAT
the planet looks like. (Color, what is it made of?)
HOW
many moons the planet has. (Do they have names?)
Any other interesting information you may
find.
****Please see an earlier post if you need to find information about each planet.****

New Math Resource
XtraMath is a new program that we will be using at school to practice our math facts practicing. Each day that students are with me, they will log on to their account and practice their math facts. I encourage you to practice at home each day that they are not with me for math (even on the weekends). Know these math facts will help them as the math becomes for complicated. There is even a app that you can download for free!
I will be sending home their log-in codes this week.
